Overview:

Al Wakrah City - Khawr al Udayd: Khawr al Udayd has two lakes, north and south, and the water does not cut off by tides or tides.

Khawr Al Udayd is located in the southeast of Qatar and it is one of the oldest areas, and it was inhabited firstly by the tribes of Bani Hammad and Al-Abadala, and because of a dispute between the two tribes over a well of water, the two tribes left to the eastern coast of the Arabian Gulf, and after them a number of tribes inhabited this place, the last of which was Al Qubaysat.

Sealine Coast: a chalet area whose origin is the sea line, which means the sea coast. 

Mesaieed: related to Nutsedges in a soil called Al-Massad.

Al-Wakrah: A city whose name is derived from the nest (wakr) of birds due to the location of the mountain of Al-Wakrah next to it, in which birds build their nests.

Its most important landmarks are: The Old City of Al Wakrah, Saif Al Wakrah Market, Al Wakrah Fort, and Al Wakrah Museum.

The scholar Muhammad bin Hassan Al-Marzouki was born in it and its prince was during the reign of Sheikh Qassim bin Muhammad Al Thani, his son Sheikh Abdul Rahman, who used to live in Al-Wukair and his descendants are still there, and Ibn Uthaymeen lamented him when he died with a poem that is in his Diwan (Al Eqd Al Thameen). Among the celebrities of Al-Wakrah: Sheikh Yaqoub bin Yusef Al-Tamimi, who took over the district of Al-Wakrah during the reign of Sheikh Qassim, and from Al-Wakrah regions: Al-Jabal, Umm Al-Hawl, Al-Rumaila, and other areas.
