State Museum of History of Uzbekistan

Overview:

The State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, formerly known as the National Museum of Turkestan, was established in 1876 AD.

It is located in Tashkent, specifically on Rashidov Street, recently known as the Lenin Museum, and it has been recently renovated and enriched with more exhibitions.

This museum is considered one of the oldest museums in Central Asia and contains more than 300,000 items on display.

It includes a unique collection of old textures, ceramic pieces, and metal coins, in addition to artistic pieces and historical documents.

You will also find a Buddha sculpture dating back to the first century and a bronze bowl used by the saka tribes from the fifth century.
