Blida
Blida, the city of roses, is the icon of international perfumes, Granada of Africa, its names have varied throughout the ages, but the fragrant roses spread in the air, have earned it fame throughout history, in which there are many of jasmine, Arabian jasmine, violet, and basil, and there is no house does not have varieties of different roses. It named its streets and neighborhoods the names of their roses, and today it is known as the City of Roses, which is Blida, an Algerian city. It is 45 km from the capital Algiers to the west, it rises 260 meters from the surface of the earth, with an area of 5326 km2, and its population reached 3071 people, according to 2008 statistics.
The city of roses was built on the Andalusian character, and it is a plain city in which there are many plains, so it is a city of various vegetables and fruits. The city attracts many tourists, including intellectuals, writers, artists, and researchers, due to its green spaces, wonderful mountains, and ancient historical monuments, Blida is famous for its traditional industries, the most famous of which is embroidery and marmalade making. Blida exports roses to France, and is known for its seven ancient gates.

Bab Algeria: Those coming from the capital enter from it.
Bab Al-Sabt: Those coming from the province of Oran enter from it, and a traditional market is held there every Saturday.
Bab al-Casbah: relative to the cane plant, which is widespread in the region.
Bab Khouikha: The Turks called it Khouikha, meaning small gate.
Bab Al Qobor: The presence of the cemetery adjacent to it earned it this name.
Bab Azaouia: Named after the zawiya of the good man, Sidi Mujbar.
Bab Al Rahba: It leads tourists to natural areas outside the governorate.
The most important landmarks and terrain: Chrea Mountains, Chiffa, Hammam Melouane, markets, old houses, antique mosques: such as Al-Kawthar Mosque, Al-Ateeq Mosque, and Ibn Saadoun Mosque.
