Doha

Qatar is an Arab country located in the east of the Arabian Peninsula in southwestern Asia, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, and its capital is Doha. It has a common land border from the south with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a maritime border with the United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Bahrain. After the Ottoman rule, Qatar became a British protectorate in the early twentieth century until it gained its independence in 1971. Qatar has been ruled by the Al Thani family since the mid-nineteenth century. The system of government in Qatar is a constitutional hereditary emirate.
