Lombok

• Lombok Island is located in the western part of Indonesia and forms a small part of the chain of islands belongs to the Lesser Sunda, it is one of the most beautiful and famous islands of Indonesia, it is separated from the island of Bali by a strait named by the same name. This island takes the shape of a circle and covers an area of about four thousand square kilometers, its population is about three million, according to recent statistics, and the majority of them are Muslims.

• The Indonesian island of Lombok is divided into four main parts: the northern part of Lombok, which has "Mount Rinjani", an active volcano, as well as many waterfalls. The central and eastern part of Lombok, which contains villages and quiet rural places, including the cities of Labuhan, Tetebatu, and others. The western part of Lombok, and is considered the most important and prominent section as it contains the island’s administrative center and also includes the most active beach in terms of tourism, where tourists come to this island by sea, and also contains hotels and resorts, and its resorts are described as the best for tourists, the southern part of Lombok, has quiet beaches, the most important and most famous of which are Kuta, Tanjong Beach and others.
