Al Manama
Manama is the capital and the largest city in Bahrain. It covers 27.48 km2 and has a population of 360,874 people (2001 census).
It is considered one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
Manama is located on the northern coast of Bahrain, west of the city of Muharraq, and it is the financial and economic center of Bahrain. Manama is linked to Muharraq Island through 3 bridges, and also is connected to Sitra Island by Bridge. In Manama, there is Salman Port.
