Karakalpakstan

It is an autonomous republic within Uzbekistan, and its capital is Nukus, it is located in the western part of Uzbekistan and covers an area of one third of the area of Uzbekistan. The historical name of Karakalpakstan is Khwarazm, as it is known in Persian literature by the name "Cath".
