Naryn
Naryn is a city in Kyrgyzstan and the center of Naryn Oblast (Region).
Its population is 34,822, according to 2009 statistics.
The height of the city is about 2044 meters above sea level.
The city is located on both banks of the Naryn River, and the river is one of the main tributaries of the Syr Darya.
The Naryn River cuts the city in half and passes through a wonderful gorge. The city contains museums and hotels, but it is dominated by residential character.
