Historic overview:
It is a battle that took place in the year (1322 AH / 1904 AD) between the forces of the Emirate of Jabal Shammar under the leadership of Abdulaziz bin Mutaib A'l Rashid and the forces of the Emirate of Najd led by Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Saud, in order to establish the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the battle ended with the victory of the Emirate of Najd and the people of Al-Qassim, then uniting Najd under the rule of King Abdul Aziz.
Battle Location:
Al Bukayriyah is located in Najd, in the center of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the heart of Al Qassim region, west of Buraydah, and about 15 km west of Qassim Airport.
