Eger Minaret

Overview:

The Ottomans controlled Eger in the period from 1596 to 1687, and during this period they built ten mosques in the city, and there is only one minaret of them from the Kethüda Mosque, which was demolished in the year (1841 AD), and the height of the minaret that was built in the early seventeenth century is 40 meters, and in good condition.

Current location:

It is located next to St. Sebastian's Church, which is the site of the former mosque, and dates to the beginning of the 17th century.
