Towada Art Center
Overview:
• The Towada Art Center was opened in the spring of 2008 as the primary center for the Towada Art Project, a city-wide initiative aimed at rehabilitating the Towada city center through art.
• Towada Art Center's permanent exhibition is a collection of 38 works by 33 acclaimed international artists such as Yoko Ono, Ron Mik and Choi Jeong Hwa. Among the permanent collections are 25 works by 22 artists inside while the other 13 are outside in the adjacent art square.
