Overview:

Lake Müggelsee is the largest lake in Berlin, it is four and a half kilometers long and two and a half kilometers wide, and its deepest point is eight meters. On the southeastern side of the lake lies the fishing town of Rahnsdorf, with its cobblestone roads and perennial chestnut trees.

There is a free beach, equipped for visitors with bathrooms, seats, etc., and next to it there is a shop for renting boats and buying pneumatic tires for children, and near the mooring platform, professional fishermen sell their catch from Lake Müggelsee.
