The 9th of April Square forms the connection point between the old city and the new city through Bab El Fahs in Tangier. All tourist groups must pass this path.
The 9th of April Square, or Grand Socco, is a large paved, sloping, palm-lined square with a central fountain.
"Grand Socco" also contains many other historical monuments.
