Phare de El Hank

Overview:

The lighthouse was named after El Hank Neighborhood that contains it. The lighthouse has an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean, and it is one of the most important landmarks in Casablanca.

Phare de El Hank is located on Ain Diab Beach, which stands tall between the Hassan II Mosque and the Ain Diab Corniche beach.

The lighthouse attracts visitors as it appears from far away in the city and is considered one of the attractions of Grand Casablanca.

Phare de El Hank is about a kilometer and a half from Al Hassan II Mosque, and about four kilometers from the main port of Casablanca.

The 161-meter-long lighthouse dates back to the year 1919 AD despite the existence of a sea monitoring station since 1905 AD and it is still carrying out its marine activities.

The lighthouse has a wonderful view throughout the year, but it becomes more beautiful whenever the weather is cloudy. You can take a look around the height of the lighthouse, which is one of the landmarks that attract visitors and tourists to watch and take photos.
