About the city

Bandung

-Bandung is the capital of West Java Province in Indonesia and the fourth most important city in Indonesia.

-It rises 768 m (2,520 ft) above sea level.

-It is surrounded by volcanic mountains, which provided protection from enemies and caused disasters from volcanoes.

-The city was founded in 1906, as before this date it was a group of villages.

-Dutch colonialism began with planting tea around the mountains in the eighteenth century, then roads were established that connect the plantation area to the capital, Jakarta, and although the city still faces many problems, starting from waste disposal, floods that leads to the chaos of the traffic system, yet Bandung still has a charm to attract people, as they flock to the city from the capital and other cities for tourism on the weekends. It also has many healing hot springs.
