Al-Rayyan

Al-Rayyan municipality, or Al-Rayyan, is one of the seven municipalities of Qatar that fall under the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, located in the southwest of the Qatari capital, Doha.

Al-Rayyan city has an area of 190 square kilometres.

Al-Rayyan is the second largest city in Qatar and also a suburb of the city of Doha, the capital of Qatar, and with the Urban Renaissance taking place in the State of Qatar, it has transformed from a residential area inhabited by Qatari families to an area that includes vital projects such as the Education City and others, as Al Rayyan enjoys the proximity to the city of Doha.
