Dakhira

It is located in the northeast of Qatar, and away about 64 km from Doha.

This area is characterized by mangrove trees that are evergreen in summer and winter and that grow on the salty sea water. This beach which is rich in mangroves, is very popular among ornithologists, and consists mainly of swamps and therefore difficult to cross, especially when the swamps are soft and become like moving sand.
