Latakia Governorate

Latakia Governorate (Ladhakia Governorate) is a Syrian governorate located in northwest Syria overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It has a large port and most of its lands are covered by forests and orchards. It has borders with Turkey, Idlib, Hama and Tartus Governorates.
