Jendouba State
- Its name was (The state of Wednesday Souq) before 1966 AD, it was located in the far northwest of the Republic of Tunisia. It is bordered to the east by the state of Beja, to the west by the Algerian country, to the south by the states of Siliana and El Kef, and to the north by the Mediterranean Sea.
- Wadi Medjerda splits the city of Jendouba, the capital of the state, which is the longest river in Tunisia, and Wadi Medjerda descends from the Souk Ahras mountains in Algeria.
- It is characterized by wide plains, the quality of its soil, and the abundance of its dams. It has more than a third of the water reserve in Tunisia, and it has the largest forests known as the Khmer mountain range, in addition to its fertility, diversity of cultivation and abundant agricultural production.
