Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan in India and is located in the northern half of India.

It is known as the Pink City because of its pink walls which was used in the buildings in the Old City.

The tourist attractions in Jaipur are endless, from palaces to temples to museums, in addition to beaches, parks, and the ancient royal heritage.

The city was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.

It is considered the first Indian city to be built according to a specific system, so it draws attention with its different, spacious and organized streets. During the British rule of India, Jaipur was the capital of the princely state of Marwar.

Its population is 3.5 million, and it is now an important commercial center and a popular tourist destination in India and Rajasthan.
