Salvador

Salvador or São Salvador da Bahia de Todos os Santos is the capital of Bahia state.

It was the third-most populous city in Brazil, after São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

In 2010, there were 2,714,119 people in the city.

Salvador lies on a triangular land between Atlantic Ocean from east and Bay of All Saints from west.

It is known as the city of happiness because of the large number of festivals in its streets.

It known for the strong influence of the African culture, it is a center of Afro-Brazilian people. 

The city is noted for its cuisine, music and architecture. Its outskirts consider the second richest regions in Brazil. 

Salvador has a tropical rainforest climate.
