Ranyah

• The city of Ranyah is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where it is considered one of its affiliated governorates, and belongs to the region’s governorate, which is known as the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and the location of this governorate is in the Najd plateau, specifically in its southwestern edge.

• The environment of this governorate is characterized as desert, and thus its climate is continental. As for its topography, it comes in a different form, as it takes the desert character, as it is located in a plateau that includes most of its lands and administrative districts, especially from the southwestern and western sides entirely.

• Some of its lands include some trees, and it includes many mountains that contain granite, especially the fiery ones, which give its mountains a dazzling beauty. These mountains are covered with trees, most of which are acacia trees, and they form very beautiful parks. Most of the residents go to them to enjoy their views, away from the atmosphere of the tents in which they live, and from the large number of trees in it, we can know that man has inhabited it since ancient times, and thus we find many caves in it.

• The population of Ranyah Governorate is 52,561 thousand people, and today it is much more than that number.
