Toronto

The city of Toronto is located in Ontario, Canada, at latitude 43.70 and longitude -79.42, with a height of about 175 meters above sea level. It has a population of approximately 2,600,000 people, making it the largest city in Ontario. The city is famous as the most populous city in Canada and is a multicultural city. It is the financial and commercial center of the country. It is located on the northwestern banks of Lake Ontario, which forms a part of the borders between Canada and the United States.

The city of Toronto is known as the most livable and diverse city in the world, and it is the capital of the Canadian province of Ontario, a global city of great regional and international importance. It is also one of the most important centers of cultural, artistic and health sciences in the country. Its name means the place where there are trees in the water.

It dates back to about the eighteenth century, and was stolen in 1812 AD during the York War. Then, during 1834 AD, its name was changed from York to Toronto, and it is considered one of the cities that suffered burns, as it was burned in 1849 AD and 1904 AD. After that, it became expanding and growing until it reached nearly 630 km2, and it is one of the most populated countries.

Among the most prominent attractions in this center is a group of geese made of fiberglass and suspended in the ceiling, as this statue was designed by artist Michael Snow. This mall is located in the heart of the city and houses over 230 stores.

- Canada Wonderland Park: It is the destination full of fun and adventure for the whole family. It is a 1.2 square kilometer park in Ontario, and has more than 200 attractions, including a water park, kids area, and many more Live performances.

- Ontario Museum: It is one of the museums that contain many galleries and distinguished paintings.

- Toronto Zoo: It is situated 40 kilometers from the city, and is one of the major parks that contain multiple animals, perhaps the most important of which is panda. It was opened in 2013 and is distinguished by its multiple sections, and millions of tourists visit it annually to see many various animals.

- St. Lawrence Market: It is one of the markets that were opened in 1850 AD, and it was rebuilt in 1967, including inside various shops that contain food, flowers, cinema, and others.

- Nathan Phillips Square: It was built in 1965 by the Finnish engineer Viljo, and is considered one of the high and tall squares, as it overlooks stunning views.

- High Park or Shakespeare Park: It was built in 1873 AD, and it is one of the major parks that include flowers, swimming pools, and playing areas. It also features amazing green spaces.
